Solicitation in Hayden Village. The Board of Directors has recently received several complaints about and requests for signs on solicitation in Hayden Village. The Board is reviewing placing signs at the entrances to the community.
In the meantime, here is a useful link to a Fairfax County website with information about licensing and control of solicitors.

The County Code regulates solicitors in Chapter 31 (recommends posting "no solicitation" signs near your front door. Signs should be small and readable, but unobtrusive).

However, if you see suspicious activity please contact the Fairfax County Police Department. 911 is the emergency number (if appropriate) or 703-691-2131 for non-emergencies, but to report suspicious activity or concerns. (11/30/11)
